‘Duniya’ Vijay’s ‘Bheema’ is nearing completion. But still the team had not disclosed the heroine of the film. Now theatre artiste Ashwini has been roped in as the female lead of the film.
It’s been months since ‘Bheema’ was launched in a grand event in Bangalore. Vijay who is also the director of the film has completed most of the film, but had not revealed the name of the heroine. Now on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the team has welcomed Ashwini on board.
Ashwini is a theatre artiste who has worked with Achyuth Kumar, Raghu Shimoga and others. This is the first time she is acting in a film and will be playing a prominent role in ‘Bheema’. Though her role is not divulged, she is said to be playing the role of a slum dweller in the film.
Like his previous film ‘Salaga’, Vijay is introducing a lot of newcomers in this film. Vijay is introducing a new villain called Black Dragon Manju in this film. Kalyani Raju, who acted as Vijay’s mother in ‘Jayammana Maga’ is playing a prominent role in the film. ‘Bheema’ is being produced by Krishna Sarthak of ‘Bhairagee’ fame and Jagadeesh Gowda. Charan Raj is the music composer, while Shivasena is the cinematographer. Maasthi Manju is in charge of the dialogues.
