Chandan Shetty has been releasing party songs on the occasion of New Year. This year also, the singer-composer has released a new party song called ‘Dash’. The song was released recently and has already clocked 2.5 million views in just a couple of days.
‘Dash’ is not a song from any of his new private albums, but from his forthcoming film called ‘Sutradhari’. Chandan plays a police officer in this crime thriller and the song is said to be the introduction song of the actor.
Producer Navarasan says the ‘Dash’ song is a gift from the team to film lovers. Speaking during the release of the song, ‘Chandan has been releasing party songs for New Year for a while. This year we thought of releasing a song from the film. I discussed it with Chandan. Everything got finalised and the song was completed just two days back’ says Navarasan.
The shooting for the song was held at the Innovative Film City in Bangalore last week and ‘Salaga’ fame actress Sanjana Anand has danced along with Chandan Shetty. ‘Sutradhari’ is being directed by debutante Kiran Kumar. Apoorva, Tabla Nani and others play prominent roles. Chandan Shetty apart from acting in the film is also composing the music. P K H Doss is the cinematographer.
