Shivarajkumar dubs in Tamil for his 125h film ‘Vedha’

Kannada, News, Tamil, Telugu

Shivarajkumar’s most anticipated film ‘Vedha’ is all set to hit the screens on Friday (Dec 23). The film has also been dubbed to Telugu and Tamil and Shivanna has dubbed for his role in Tamil for the first time.

The ‘Sandalwood King’ himself has confirmed dubbing for his role in the recently held press conference of the film at his residence.

‘I have sung a song called ‘Pushpa’ in the film. Harsha insisted that I sing the song in Tamil also. Apart from singing the song, I have also dubbed for my portions in Tamil version also. It was not difficult for me, as I was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu. I didn’t dub for the Telugu version, as I found it difficult’ said the ‘Century Star’.

Speaking about the film, ‘this is not a fantasy film. This is a film based on a fictional story. I play a common man in this film. There is no gang war in this film. This is a story between two villages. What happens when there is a drift in a happy family forms the crux of the film’ says Shivarajkumar.

‘Veda’ marks the debut of Shivarajkumar’s wife Geetha Shivarajkumar to film production. Geetha Shivarajkumar has launched a production house called Geetha Pictures and has produced the film along with Zee Studios.

‘Vedha’ is Shivarajkumar’s 125th film as an actor and is directed by A Harsha. Gaanavi Laxman and Shwetha Chengappa play prominent roles in the film. Arjun Janya is the music composer.
