Sandalwood actor Yogi of ‘Loose Maadha’ fame is likely to replace Rishab Shetty in ‘Bachelor Party’ being produced by Rakshit Shetty under Paramvah Studios.
Earlier, Rishab Shetty and Diganth were supposed to act together in ‘Bachelor Party’. The duo were seen together at the launch of the film and both of them said they were excited to act together.
However, Rishab Shetty is said to have backed out of the film as he is planning a sequel to ‘Kantara 2’. Though Rishab is mum about the film, Diganth has confirmed the news during an interview. Diganth had said that Rishab is not a part of the film as he is busy with ‘Kantara 2’ and a search for a new hero is on.
Now Yogi is said to have joined the team. But director Abhijith Mahesh says that the news is not confirmed as Rakshit has to take a call on that. Abhijith says Rakshit will be taking a decision soon and the team will be officially announcing who will be replacing Rishab in the film.
‘Bachelor Party’ is a buddy comedy which explores the emotions and interactions between close friends. Rakshit Shetty will be seen in a guest appearance in the film. Thai actress Achara Kirik is also said to be making her Kannada debut with ‘Bachelor Party’. Siri Ravi Kumar is seen opposite Diganth. Achyuth Kumar, Jayalakshmi Patil and others play prominent roles in the film.
