Dhananjay says none of his producers lost money from his films this year

Sandalwood actor Dhananjay who is looking forward for the release of his latest film ‘Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda’ has said that none of his producers lost money from his films this year.

Dhananjay was talking during the trailer release of the film. This is Dhananjay’s sixth film this year, including a cameo in ‘Thotapuri’. Though Dhananjay’s films flopped this year, his producers are said to make money out of his films.

‘This is my sixth release of the year. I am proud that in spite of acting in so many films, none of my producers have lost money. The returns might be different, but all are safe’ says Dhananjay.

‘Many ask me why I act in so many films in a year. As an actor, I can’t waste my time. If good teams approach me with good stories, I can’t say no to them. I am not only an actor, but producer also. I want to give opportunities to many newcomers. So, it is very important for me to act continuously. With each new film, many newcomers get opportunity and it will be helpful for the film industry also. So, I am very happy doing lot of films’ says Dhananjay.

‘Once Upon A Time in Jamaligudda’ is a periodic romantic thriller set in the 1980s. The film is directed by Kushal Gowda, who had earlier made his debut with ‘Kannadakkagi Ondannu Otti’ and produced by Srihari under Niharika Movies. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while Karthik is the cinematographer.

Apart from Dhananjay and Aditi Prabhudeva the film stars Prakash Belawadi, Yash Shetty, Bhavana Ramanna and Triveni Rao in prominent roles.
