Off late, Priyanka Upendra is experimenting with varied roles and different genres in her films. Now the actress will be seen in a socio-political thriller called ‘Prajaye Prabhu’ which was launched in Bangalore on Wednesday.
As the title itself suggests, ‘Prajaye Prabhu’ is a socio-political drama and Priyanka Upendra plays the role of an educated woman who decides to bring in a change in the society. Though the concept looks similar to Upendra’s Prajakeeya party, the film is not based on any party or any particular person.
‘Prajaye Prabhu’ marks the debut of choreographer Sai Lakshman as director. The film is produced by Soubhagya Cinemas. The shooting for the film will start from January 2023.
Apart from Priyanka Upendra the film boasts of a star cast including Ravishankar, Yash Shetty, Girija Lokesh, Cheluvaraju of ‘Bhajarangi 2’ and others in prominent roles. V Nagendra Prasad is the music composer, while Rishikesh is the cinematographer. Meanwhile, Priyanka Upendra’s ‘Miss Nandini’ is all set to release in the first week of January 2023.
