Sandalwood actor Pruthvi Ambaar who has films including ‘Life Is Beautiful’, ‘For Registration’, ‘Dooradarshana’ and others has signed yet another film called ‘Matsyagandha’.
Pruthvi who has often been seen in soft roles will be seen in a mass mode for the first time in his career. The actor will be seen in the role of a cop in the new film to be written and directed by Devaraj Pujari.
Devaraj had earlier directed ‘Kinaare’ and this is second film as a director. The story is set in North Karnataka and the first poster of the film was released recently through social media.
‘Matsyagandha’ is being produced under the Kalika productions banner and the film stars Pruthvi Ambaar, Viranika Shetty, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Prashanth Siddi, Raghu Pandeshwar and others in prominent roles. The actual shooting for the film will start from December.
