Ananth Nag and Diganth starrer ‘Thimmaiah & Thimmaiah’ is finally ready for release. The film being directed by Sanjay Sharma will be hitting the screens on the 02nd of December.
‘Thimmaiah & Thimmaiah’ is a film based on grandfather and grandson sentiment. Ananth Nag and Diganth are seen in the roles of grandfather and grandson in the film. The film revolves about what happens when they meet for the first time after 30 years? The second teaser of the film was released recently.
Sanjay Sharma who had directed more than 400 ads in his lifetime has directed a feature film for the very first time. ‘When I completed the script, I thought Ananth Nag would be apt for the film. However, I was very much apprehensive whether he would act in the film or not? Ananth Nag not only acted in the film, but also gave lot of inputs’ says Sanjay Sharma.
Ananth Nag says after a long gap, he has acted in a role, which has negative aspects also. ‘When I read the script, I was not only happy but also anxious. Off late, I have acted in a lot of positive roles. This role of Thimmaiah has negative aspects. It is very complex character. I play a very arrogant and selfish old man here. Finally, I decided to give it a try and that’s how I am in the film’ says Ananth Nag.
‘Thimmaiah & Thimmaiah’ is produced by Rajesh Sharma under the banner of Garuda Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd. Anoop Seelin is the music director, while Balakrishna Thota is the cinematographer.
The film stars Shubhra Ayyappa, Aindritha Ray, Prakash Thumminadu and others along with Ananth Nag and Diganth.
