After a big gap, Sandalwood actor Komal returned back to acting with a new film called ‘2020’. Even before the release of that film, he is acting in another film which is titled as ‘Kalaya Namaha’.
‘Kalaya Namaha’ is being produced by Komal’s wife Anasuya Komal. Mativannan is producing this film. Aasiya Firdous of ‘Kanyakumari’ serial fame is playing the female lead, while Tilak, Yathiraj, Suchendra Prasad and others play prominent roles in the film.
Talking about his new film, Komal said, ‘I am back to production and acting after a long time. The film talks about the essence of time. Time doesn’t listen to anyone. Everything happens according to time. My friends and well wishers were saying that it has been a long time since I acted. I was waiting for the appropriate time to make a comeback and I hope the time has come’ says Komal.
Komal says he had promised Mativannan, that he would work with him in future. ‘I was supposed to make my debut in Tamil film industry a few years back. Mativannan had auditioned me on behalf of a production company. He is a very talented person and I found his style very unique. I had told him that I would work with him in future. The Tamil film was not launched due to various reasons. Now I am launching him as a director in Kannada’ says Komal.
