It’s been 35 years since Kamal Haasan’s most iconic film directed by Maniratnam, ‘Nayakan’ was released. Now the duo is all set to join hands for a new film to be launched next year.
Kamal Haasan who is celebrating his birthday on Monday (Nov 07th) himself announced on Sunday that he is doing a film directed by Maniratnam.
The film is jointly produced by Kamal Haasan’s Rajkamal Films, Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Udayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.
Maniratnam like his previous films has scripted the film along with directing it. As usual A R Rahman is composing the music for this film.
This is Kamal Haasan’s 234th film and is all set to start next year. The film will be hitting the screens in 2024.
