‘Sandalwood Queen’ Ramya has decided not to be a part of her maiden production ‘Swathi Muttina Male Haniye’. Instead, the actress has decided to make a comeback with other film.
Recently, Ramya had announced that she will be making a comeback to act with ‘Swathi Muttina Male Haniye’ being directed by Raj B Shetty. The actress is also producing the film through her AppleBox Studios. Now Ramya will only be producing the film and Siri Ravikumar has replaced her in the film.
Ramya has welcomed Siri Ravikumar, Balaji Manohar, Surya Vasishta and others on board. The actress has said that she is super excited to have the actors on board of the film.
Ramya had earlier said that she was floored by the story of ‘Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye’ when Raj first narrated it to her and that is the reason why she planned her comeback. Now Ramya has opted out of the film saying that a newcomer would suit the role better.
‘Swathi Muttina Male Haniye’ is currently in its pre-production stage and is slated to go on floors soon. The film will have Raj’s technical team from ‘Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana’, which includes composer Mithun Mukundan and cinematographer Praveen Shriyan.
