Actor-director Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ is all set to release on the 30th of September. Meanwhile, the first episode of ‘The World of Kantara’ has been released.

Rishab had earlier announced that he will be revealing the various hidden facts from the world of Kantara through many videos. The cast and crew of the film will be talking in details about the various aspects of the film in many episodes. The first part of the ‘The World of Kantara’ called as ‘Shiva and Kambala’ has been released on Thursday morning in the Hombale Films of YouTube.

Rishab, cinematographer Aravind Kashyap and others have talked about the various experiences while shooting the Kambala (Traditional Buffalo Race) for the film. The technicians have expressed in detail about the making of the race.

Earlier, there was news that Rishab’s ‘Kantara’ and Rajendra Singh Babu’s ‘Veera Kambala’ is about Kambala. However, Rishab has said that ‘Kantara’ is not particularly about Kambala, but about the various customs connected with it.

‘Kantara’ is a story of land and encroachment. Speaking about the film, ‘the film is based on true incidents which I have seen in the past. Based on those incidents, I have written the story and screenplay of the film. Kambala is a part of the film and the film is not entirely about Kambala. My film is about Man versus Nature conflict’ says Rishab.

The film stars Rishab, Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Kishore and others. Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films has produced the film. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer, while Aravind Kashyap is the cinematographer.
