Diganth starrer ‘Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana’ was launched recently and the shooting for the film is under progress. Meanwhile, actress Nidhi Subbaiah has joined the star cast as the female lead.
This is not the first time that Diganth and Nidhi are being cast together. Earlier, the two had worked as the lead pair in Yogaraj Bhatt’s ‘Pancharangi’. The film went on to become a hit and the onscreen chemistry of Diganth and Nidhi was much appreciated by the audience. However, the duo did not work together after that and is now back acting as a pair after a gap of 12 years.
The shooting for the film is being held at a Gated Community in Yelahanka, Bangalore. Nidhi plays a crucial role in the film and is a right hander. Diganth being a left hander meets Nidhi and what all happens after the meeting and how does Diganth’s life changes forms the crux of the film.
‘Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana’ is a crime thriller and tells the problems of what all the southpaws face in their daily life. Diganth plays a Left Hander in the film. The film is written and directed by Samarth B Kadkol.
‘Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana’ is jointly produced by Gurudutt Ganiga (of ‘Ambi Ninge Vayassaitho’ fame) and Samarth Kadkol. Abhimanyu Sadanand is the cinematographer. The film stars Diganth, Nidhi Subbaiah, Dhanu Harsha, Krishna Hebbale and others in prominent roles.
