Sharan starrer ‘Guru Shishyaru’ is all set to release on the 23rd of September across Karnataka. Meanwhile, the trailer of the film was released on Monday morning in Anand Audio channel of YouTube.
‘Guru Shishyaru’ is a sports drama exploring the game of Kho-Kho. The film is set in the 1990s and Sharan plays the role of a lazy teacher who goes to a village to teach the children. What happens there forms the crux of the film. Kho Kho match plays a prominent role in the film.
One of the highlights is, Sharan’s son Hruday, ‘Nenapirali’ Prem’s son Ekanth, Ravishankar Gowda’s Surya, Naveen Krishna’s Harshith and Bullet Prakash’s son Rakshak have also acted in the film. Apart from these five, Manikanta Nayak, Asif Mulla, Sandesh, Anup Ramanna, Sagar, Sambhashiva and Rudragowda are also part of the star cast. They were given Kho Kho training before the launch of the film.
‘Guru Shishyaru’ stars Sharan, Nishvika Naidu, Dattanna, Suresh Hebliker, Apurva Kasaravalli and others in prominent roles. The film written and directed by Jadesh Hampi, who had earlier directed Prajwal Devaraj’s ‘Gentleman’.
The film is jointly produced by Sharan’s Laddu Cinemas and Tharun Sudhir’s Kreatiivez. The film has music by Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematographer by Sudhakar Raj.
