The shooting for Shivarajkumar and Prabhudeva’s new film was launched a few days back. Meanwhile, Kannada Screens has exclusively learnt that the film has been titled ‘Karataka Damanaka’.
Earlier, the film was said to be tentatively titled as ‘Kuladalli Keelyavaudu’. But now the team has decided to title the film as ‘Karataka Damanaka’. The title is derived from the names of jackals from the Panchatantra story called ‘Mitra Bheda’.
‘Karataka Damanaka’ is being written and directed by Yogaraj Bhatt and the film is said to revolve around friendship and love. The film is an out and out commercial entertainer with lots of fun, laughter and a good message also.
The film is produced by Rockline Venkatesh under Rockline Productions. The film which is the 47th film from the production house was launched a few months back. However, the shooting started recently.
‘Karataka Damanaka’ stars Shivarajkumar, Prabhudeva, Priya Anand, Nishvika Naidu and others in prominent roles. Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer, while V Harikrishna is the music composer.
