The release date of Jayatheertha’s new film ‘Banaras’ has finally been out on the auspicious day of Ganesha Chaturthi festival. The film will be releasing worldwide on the 04th of November.
If everything had gone right, then ‘Banaras’ was supposed to release on the 02nd of September. However, the film’s release was postponed because Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘Lucky Man’ was said to be released on the same date. To avoid clash, ‘Banaras’ was pushed further and now the film will be hitting the screens on the 04th of November worldwide.
‘Banaras’ marks the debut of well known politician and Chamarajpet MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan’s son Zaid Khan as a hero. The shooting for ‘Banaras’ completed a few months back and the team has kick started the promotions of the film by launching the first video song of the film called ‘Mayagange’. Armaan Malik has sung the song and the song has been released in Lahari Music channel of You tube.
‘Banaras’ stars Zaid along with Sonal, Sujay Shastry, Devaraj, Achyuth Kumar and others in prominent roles. Jayatheertha has written the story and screenplay, apart from directing the film. ‘Banaras’ is a PAN Indian film and is releasing in five languages simultaneously.
