Well known music composer Stephen Prayog who has composed music for films like ‘Paris Pranaya’ and others has turned director with a short film called ‘Deepu Geleyara Balaga’.
Stephen Prayog says he got attracted towards direction during the Covid times. ‘I being a music composer don’t know much about direction. So, I did a course through online from New York Film Academy. I learnt a lot from this course. After that, I wrote a few scripts and discussed with my friends. Everybody selected this and that’s how ‘Deepu Geleyara Balaga’ started says Stephen Prayog.
‘Deepu Geleyara Balaga’ stars a lot of newcomers. Varun Kumar from Roopantara team plays the role of Deepu in the film. Apart from Varun, Prashanth, Bharath Kumar, Uma, Satish Chauhan and others play prominent roles in the film. Stephen himself has composed the music for the short film apart from directing it. Gangadhar Talakadu and Prashanth Talakadu are the cinematographers.
Stephen Prayog intends to do feature films in the coming days and says that he will be announcing a film as a director soon.
