Zee Studios has officially collaborated with Shivarajkumar’s 125th film ‘Vedha’ and will be backing the multilingual film to be simultaneously released in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
‘Veda’ marks the debut of Shivarajkumar’s wife Geetha Shivarajkumar to film production. Geetha Shivarajkumar was supposed to produce Shivarajkumar’s 100th film a few years back. However, Rakshitha Prem took the opportunity of producing Shivarajkumar’s 100th film ‘Jogaiah’. Now Geetha Shivarajkumar has launched a production house called Geetha Pictures and is producing the film. Now Zee Studios has collaborated with the film.
Recently, Geetha Pictures was officially launched by veteran actor Ananth Nag in a special event held in Bangalore. Star cricketer Anil Kumble released the motion poster of the film. Many celebrities as well as family members of Shivarajkumar were present during the occasion.
‘Vedha’ is a periodic thriller sets in the 1960s and has a tagline of ‘The Brutal 1960s. The film is being directed by A Harsha and this is the fourth time that Shivarajkumar and A Harsha are teaming up after ‘Bhajarangi’, ‘Vajrakaya’ and ‘Bhajarangi 2’.
Gaanavi Laxman plays a prominent role in the film which has music by Arjun Janya.
