After dating for nearly seven years, actress Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in Mahabalipuram on Thursday. The marriage was attended by many celebrities across many film industries.
Earlier, the marriage was said to be held at Tirumala Temple in Tirupathi. However, the venue was changed to a resort in Mahabalipuram for various reasons. An entire resort was booked for the marriage and many celebrities attended the marriage.
Rajanikanth, Vijay, Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Ajith Kumar, Sarath Kumar, Boney Kapoor, Suriya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu amongst others attended the ceremony and wished the newlywed couple.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan met on the sets of ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan’ which was released in 2015. The film was directed by Vignesh and featured Nayanthara in lead role. They soon fell in love and in 2019; Vignesh addressed her as fiancé at an event. The duo was said to get married last year. However, due to various delays the marriage finally took place on Thursday.
