Actor Kiran Raj who has made a big name for himself in small screen through ‘Kannadathi’ serial, is making a comeback to big screen. The actor who was seen in ‘March 22’ and ‘Asathoma Sadgamaya’ is back with another film called ‘Buddies’.
‘Buddies’ is being directed by Gurutej Shetty and produced by Bharathi Shetty. The film is complete and is gearing up for release. Meanwhile, the first song from the film was released recently.
The song ‘Hodi Maga Goli’ is a youthful number composed by Judah Sandy and sung by Naveen Sajju. The song has been written by the director. The song has been released in the Anand Audio channel of You tube.
Kiran Raj says he was bowled out by the story that the director narrated to him. ‘I wanted to be a part of an interesting film. That’s when the director narrated the story, which I was bowled over. It is my first film as a hero. The film has a great message’ says Kiran Raj.
As the title itself suggests, the film revolves around few friends from an engineering college. While, Kiran Raj plays the hero, Siri Prahlad is the heroine. Few new talents have been introduced in the film and they play Kiran’s ‘Buddies’ here. Gopal Deshpande is also seen in a prominent role.
‘Buddies’ has Nibha Shetty making her debut as a cinematographer, while Judah Sandy has composed the music.
The film is all set to hit the screens on the 24th of June.
