Actor-producer Rakshit Shetty whose new productional venture ‘Sakutumba Sametha’ is all set to release the film on the 20th of May. Meanwhile, Rakshit is safe even before the release of the film. Thanks to satellite and digital rights which have fetched the producer a cool profit.
‘Sakutumba Sametha’ is being written and directed by debutante Rahul and jointly produced by Rakshit Shetty and G S Guptha under Paramvah Studios. Rahul had worked as an assistant director to Rakshit for ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’. Rahul had also worked for other films of Rakshit.
When Rahul decided to turn independent, he narrated a story to Rakshit to which he immediately gave a nod to produce. That’s how ‘Sakutamba Sametha’ materialized. The film was early meant for an OTT release. The satellite and digital rights of the film has been acquired by Colors Kannada and Voot for a good price. Rakshit who is already in profit even before the release of the film, has decided to release it in theaters on the 20th of May.
The film revolves around Suri, who he is desperate for a wedding. He finds his bride in Shraddha. Unfortunately for him, she decides to call it off one week before the wedding. A meeting between the two dysfunctional families for reconciliation follows. What happens next forms the crux of the film.
‘Sakutumba Sametha’ stars Bharath, Siri Ravikumar, Achyuth Kumar, Krishna Hebbale, Jayalakshmi Patil and others in prominent roles. The film has camera work by Karam Chawla. The trailer of the film has been released in the Paramvah Studios channel of Youtube.
