Kannada, News

Actor-director V Ravichandran’s second son Vikram Ravichandran’s debut film as a hero, ‘Trivikrama’ is all set to release on the 24th of June across Karnataka. The makers have officially announced the release date in a press conference on Tuesday in Bangalore.

‘Trivikrama’ was launched three years back and the film was complete before the first lockdown itself. However, the film got delayed due to various reasons and is now ready for release.

Vikram remembered Puneeth Rajkumar on the occasion. ‘Even my father doesn’t know the story fully. Only Puneeth Rajkumar and Shivanna knew the story. When I told Puneeth that I would be making my debut, he immediately asked me what the story is. He was fully happy with the story and assured me that he will sing a song for the film. He said I must dance for that song and if I didn’t dance well, he would beat me up. Today we miss him a lot. The song which was supposed to be sung by him has not been shot at all’ said Vikram.

Vikram said though he is the son of Ravichandran, people would look up to him as an actor and he has to fulfill their expectations. ‘I play a middle class youth in this film. The film is ready and the promotions will start from now on. I hope to live up to the people’s expectations’ says Vikram Ravichandran.

‘Trivikrama’ is being written and directed by Sahana Murthy who had earlier directed ‘Rose’ and ‘Mass Leader’. The film is produced by Ramco Somanna and stars Vikram Ravichandran, Akanksha Sharma, Sadhu Kokila, Aadi Lokesh, Tulasi Shivamani and others in prominent roles. Arjun Janya is the music composer.
