Yash starrer ‘KGF 2’ film has hit one more milestone. The film has surpassed Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ and has become the second highest grossing Hindi film.
‘KGF 2’ was released on the 14th of April worldwide in more than 10000 screens. In just three weeks, the film has shattered all the records. The Hindi version of the film itself has collected 390 crores hereby surpassing Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ which had collected 383 crores.
Trade analyst and expert Taran Adarsh on Thursday has shared that ‘KGF 2’ has surpassed the life time collections of ‘Dangal’ and has become the second highest Hindi grosser. The film has to beat ‘Baahubali 2’ to gain the number one position.
In spite of films like ‘Runway 34’, ‘Heropanti 2’ and ‘Jersey’, the film is still going strong at the box-office and has managed to collect 392 crores at the end of three weeks.
The digital rights of the film were sold to Amazon Prime even before the release of the film. Now Amazon Prime is planning to premiere the film on the 27th of May.
‘KGF 2’ stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is produced by Vijay Kumar Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
