‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay’s ‘Beast’ has finally got a release date. The film will be releasing on the 13th of April and will be competing with India’s most anticipated film ‘KGF 2’ starring Yash, which is releasing on the 14th of April.
Though ‘Beast’ was completed last year itself, the release date was not announced due to various reasons. There were assumptions that the film might get released along with ‘KGF 2’; Sun Pictures which is producing the film was mum about the film’s release date. Finally, on Tuesday the production house has announced the release date along with releasing a new poster of the film.
Vijay was last seen in ‘Master’ which was released in 2021. The film was a blockbuster and Vijay went on to sign ‘Beast’ as his 65th film. The film which is being written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar has been shot in Georgia, Chennai and other places.
‘Beast’ stars Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh and others in prominent roles. One of the highlights is, well known director Selvaraghavan is playing the role of an antagonist in the film. Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer, while Anirudh Ravichander is the music director.
