The trailer of Upendra starrer ‘Home Minister’ was released on Sunday in a grand pre-release event held at the Ambedkar Bhavan in Bangalore.
The pre-release event was attended by Upendra, Priyanka Upendra, Niranjan Sudhindra, Sadhu Kokila, producer turned minister Muniratna and others. The trailer was launched during the event and Upendra has even shared it through social media handles.
Upendra is seen as a house husband in this film. While, actress Vedika who plays the role of Upendra’s wife is an employee, Upendra is seen busy doing household chores and watching television serials. What exactly is his character and the title ‘Home Minister’ is all set to be revealed on the 01st of April, when the film releases across Karnataka.
During a press conference of the film held earlier this month, Upendra had said that there is no genre for this film. ‘There are many types of genres like action, comedy, drama, sentiment, horror and others and this film does not fit into any of the genres. This is a different film’ said Upendra.
‘Home Minister’ stars Upendra, Vedika, Tanya Hope, Suman Ranganath and others and was launched four years back. However, the film got delayed due to various reasons and is now ready for release.
‘Home Minister’ is a bilingual film and is shot in Kannada and Telugu simultaneously. The film is written and directed by Sujay K Srihari, while Poorna Naidu is the producer. Ghibran has composed music for the film.
