Sandalwood actress Amulya and her husband Jagadish were blessed with twin boys on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri on Tuesday.
Jagadish shared the news of Amulya giving birth to twin boys through a post in Instagram. ‘Blessed with twin babies, both the boys and mother are doing absolutely fine. Heartiest thanks for all the love, good wishes showered on us throughout the journey’ wrote Jagadish along with sharing a photo of Amulya from the maternity photo shoot.
Jagadish and Amulya were married in 2017 in a grand ceremony in Adichunchanagiri Mutt and a reception was held for the fans in Bangalore.
A few months back, Amulya though social media announced that she is going to be a mom soon. The couple also hosted a baby shower on the 13th of February in a Five Star Hotel which was attended by Ganesh, Shilpa Ganesh, Upendra, Priyanka Upendra, Prem, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sudharani, Radhika Pandith, Shruthi, Malavika Avinash and others.
Amulya made her debut in Sandalwood as a child artiste and acted as a heroine in Ganesh’s ‘Cheluvina Chittara’ directed by S Narayan. The actress went on to act in films like ‘Shravani Subramanya’, ‘Gaja Kesari’, ‘Mugulu Nage’ and others before marrying Jagadish in 2017. Post her marriage, Amulya has quit acting and has been a home maker since then.
