With the success of ‘Pushpa – The Rise’, Dhananjay who is seen in the role of ‘Jolly’ Reddy has become a household name in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. To encash Dhananjay’s popularity, his latest hit ‘Badava Rascal’ has been dubbed to Telugu with the same name and the film is all set to release in February.
‘Daali’ Dhananjay’s ‘Badava Rascal’ was released on the 24th of December in Karnataka and the film went on to become a big hit. The film is helmed by debutante director Shankar Guru and in the 6th week of its release and amidst 50 percent occupancy in theaters, the film is recording houseful shows all over.
Dhananjay who is also the producer of the film had sold the satellite and digital rights of the film to Colors Kannada and Voot much before the film’s release. The film has also been released in Voot recently. Now Daali Pictures along with Rizwan Entertainments has dubbed the film to Telugu and recently a song from the Telugu version called ‘Cheliye Chandamamave’ was released in Anand Audio channel of You Tube.
‘Badava Rascal’ stars Dhananjay along with Amrutha Iyengar, Rangayana Raghu, Tara, Nagabhushan, Guruprasad and others in prominent roles. Vasuki has composed the music, while Preetha Jayaraman has handled the cinematography.
Though the release date of the Telugu version of ‘Badava Rascal’ has not been announced officially, it is being said that the film is likely to release on the 18th of February.
