After the critically acclaimed ‘Act 1978’, Mansore is all set to direct a new film called ’19 20 21’. The new film was announced on Wednesday morning and is expected to start soon.
After the success of ‘Act 1978’, Mansore had announced that he will be directing a historical called ‘Rani Abbakka’ based on queen Abbakka. There was news that Anushka Shetty might feature as queen Abbakka. However, the film did not materialize due to pandemic and Mansore has decided do a new film.
Mansore says that ’19 20 21’ is based on a real life incident, which he is planning to translate into the screen. ‘I was planning to make into a film long back. Due to various reasons, the film got pushed further. Now during the pandemic, I got plenty of time to write the script. We are planning to go on floors soon and release it this year itself’ says Mansore.
The acclaimed director does not reveal the significance of the title. ‘These numbers are near to everybody’s life. The questions, How and Why will be answered in the film. The cast and crew of the film will be announced soon’ says Mansore.
Though Mansore does not divulge any details about the story, the poster looks like that ’19 20 21′ is also a socially relevant film like ‘Act 1978’.
Devaraj R who produced ‘Act 1978’ is producing this film also. Ace cinematographer Satya Hegde is also said to have joined hands in the production apart from handling the cinematography.
