Kollywood actor Suriya Shivakumar’s upcoming film ‘Jai Bhim’ was said to have a direct OTT release instead of a theatrical release, but the date was not announced. Now ‘Jai Bhim’ is all set to arrive on the 02nd of November in Amazon Prime.
Suriya himself announced the release date of the film saying that he is proud to bring the story of courage and faith in pursuit of Justice. The film is originally made in Tamil and has been dubbed to Telugu.
‘Jai Bhim’ has Suriya playing the role of a lawyer who fights for the rights of Tribal communities. It is said to be a socially and politically relevant film, with Suriya fighting for the rights of the downtrodden. Suriya apart from acting is also producing the film under his 2D Entertainment production house. Journalist turned filmmaker TJ Gnanavel has scripted and directed the film. Apart from Suriya, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.
