Well known director Ram Gopal Varma is not new to Sandalwood. The maverick director had directed ‘Killing Veerappan’ starring Shivarajkumar a few years ago. Now, RGV is back to Kannada films once again. This time, RGV will be directing a new film starring Sandalwood Star Upendra.
Upendra is celebrating his birthday today and on this occasion, the director has announced that he will be directing Upendra in a new action thriller.
RGV took to his twitter account and announced his association with Upendra for a new film. ‘Happy to announce that I and Upendra are starting an action film very soon and here’s wishing him Many Happy Returns of the Day’ tweeted RGV.
The new film is directed by Raj Yadav Davanagere under A Square Productions. This is the first film from the banner and more details about the film are yet awaited. Upendra is currently busy with ‘Kabzaa’ and ‘Lagaam’ and is likely to take up this project by next year, once he completes his prior commitments.
