S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ starring Junior NTR and Ramcharan Teja which was supposed to release on the 13th of October has been postponed indefinitely. The team took to twitter and announced that the film will not be releasing on the above said date and the film will be released at the earliest possible date.
‘Post production nearly done to have #RRRMovie ready by October 2021. But as known to many, we are postponing the release but cannot announce a new date with theatres indefinitely closed. We will release at the earliest possible date when the world cinema markets are up and running’ says the tweet.
Though the team has announced that the film will be released at the earliest possible date, it is not easy for the team to release the film for the next few months as many anticipated PAN Indian films have already announced the release date of their films. Rajanikanth starrer ‘Annatthe’ will be releasing on Deepavali, followed by Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ for Christmas. The Sankranthi season will be witnessing four big Telugu films including Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’, Pawan Kalyan’ s ‘Bheemla Nayak’, Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkari Vaari Paata’ and Venkatesh’s ‘F2’. ‘KGF 2’ will be releasing on the 14th of April.
With many films lined up for release in the next few months, it has to be seen when ‘RRR’ will be released.
