Producer Shailaja Nag had previously announced that she will be producing the 55th film of Darshan under the Media House banner. Now the title of the film has been revealed on the occasion of Ganesha festival on Friday. The film has been titled as ‘Kranthi’ (Revolution).
‘Kranthi’ is being directed by music director turned director V Harikrishna. The well known composer was one of the directors in Darshan’s ‘Yajamana’ which was produced by Shylaja Nag. Now Harikrishna will be independently directing this film.
During the success meet of ‘Yajamana’ itself, Darshan had announced that he will be acting in another film produced by Shylaja Nag. If everything had gone right, then the film should have been started by now. Due to Corona and the lockdown, the film was delayed and the shooting for ‘Kranti’ is likely to start soon.
‘Kranti’ is a PAN-Indian film, which will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malyalam. Though the first poster of ‘Kranti’ has been revealed, the makers are yet to finalise the cast and crew of the film.
