The shooting for Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s new film which is a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is in full progress with more than 50 percent of the film being wrapped up. Now actress Nithya Menen has been roped in for a prominent role in the film.
Sithara Entertainments, who is producing the film, welcomed the actress through its Twitter handle on Friday. Nithya Menen will be playing the role of Pawan Kalyan’s wife in this film. Nithya has already started acting in the film and her portions are said to be shot in Hyderabad.
The shooting for the film had started earlier this year and the team shot continuously before giving a break due to lockdown. The team has resumed the shooting of the film again post lockdown and the film is likely to be completed in the next one month. This is the first time that Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are sharing screen space together and Pawan will be seen in the role of Inspector Bheemla Nayak in this film.
The untitled film which is tentatively titled as ‘PSPKRanaMovie’ or Production No 12 is moving in a brisk pace and the film has already been scheduled to release on the 14th of January, 2022. The film will be colliding with Prabhas starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’. The film is being directed by Sagar K Chandra and produced by Sithara Entertainments.
