It’s been nearly 11 months since a film of Upendra has been released. His last outing ‘UI’ was a dud at the box-office and now the actor is back with a new film. This time, it’s not a Kannada film, but a Telugu film in which he plays a superstar.
Upendra’s new film is ‘Andhra King Taluka’ and is all set to release the 27th of November. Recently the Kannada trailer of the film was unveiled in Bangalore. Upendra, Ram Pothineni and the team members were present during the occasion.s
Ram Pothineni and Upendra play the lead roles, while Bhagyashree Borse is the female lead. Upendra plays a superstar hero and Ram Pothineni acts as his dedicated fan. It’s a tale of a fan and a superstar hero. Rahul Ramakrishna, Murali Sharma, Rajeev Kanakala and Rao Ramesh are seen in Supporting roles.
Upendra shares that every film has its own reasons for being made. ‘It could be the story, the message, the screenplay, or the opportunities. However, this particular movie is crafted for the fans. He believes that the fans will really enjoy watching it. Upendra adds that he’ll share more thoughts after he watches the movie himself.
‘Andhra King Taluka’ is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, while P Mahesh Babu has written the story and screenplay apart from directing the film. This is his second film after Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. Vivek-Mervin has composed the music, while Siddartha Nuni and George C. Williams are the cinematographers.
