Kollywood actor Vijay is celebrating his birthday today (June 22) and to mark the occasion the team of ‘Jana Nayagan’ has released the first look teaser of the film called ‘First Roar’. The team has gifted the teaser to the actor on his birthday.
The film is being produced by Sandalwood’s prestigious production company KVN Productions and the film is set to hit the screens on the 09th of January 2026 on the occasion of Sankranti.
‘Jana Nayagan’ is Vijay’s 69th film as an actor and is said to be his last film, after which he be actively participating in politics. Vijay will be portraying the role of a police officer in the film. The teaser was released midnight and the teaser offers fans a taste of action and intensity. The video opens with the words, ‘A true leader rises not for power, but for people’ setting the tone for Vijay’s character as a fearless cop.

The shooting or ‘Jana Nayagan’ is currently in progress and is expected to be completed soon. The film is being written and directed by H Vinoth and is produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions.
‘Jana Nayagan’ stars Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautham Menon, Prakash Rai, Priyamani and others in prominent roles. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer.
Meanwhile, KVN Productions has two PAN Indian films under production. One is the Dhruva Sarja starrer ‘KD – The Devil’ followed by Yash starrer ‘Toxic’. While, ‘KD – The Devil’ is expected to hit the screens in August this year, ‘Toxic’ will be releasing on the 19th of March 2026 on the occasion of Ugadi.
